Course selection for the 2018-19 school year has been completed. In addition to choosing courses on MyBlueprint (www.myblueprint.ca/tdsb), students also had to complete their Individual Pathways Plans (IPP). The IPP survey questions allow students to discover the answers to 4 key questions:
- Who Am I?
- What Are My Opportunities?
- What Do I Want To Become?
- What Are My Plans To Achieve My Goals?
As the end of the school year quickly approaches, Guidance has a variety of resources available for time management and study strategies to help prepare for final exams.
In preparation for the summer, job and volunteer opportunities have been posted on the Guidance Jobs & Volunteers Board. Students are strongly encouraged to come to the guidance office to gain a head start in applying for positions as they come up. Check the board regularly!
Northview will be holding its semi-annual Spring Volunteer Fair on Wednesday April 11, at lunch, in the front foyer. Students are required to complete 40 hours of community service hours as part of their diploma requirements.
